The workshop covered a broad range of topics in quantum control, from fundamental questions to technological applications. It consisted of a first part focused on information-theoretic aspects of quantum control and complexity, and a second part focused on experimental challenges with nuclear magnetic resonance setups.
The workshop gathered experts and early stage researchers, fostering discussions and exchanges. There were tutorial lectures, invited and contributed talks, a poster session, and an industry session. The workshop ran from 19 to 23 January 2015 at the University of Nottingham (U.K.), and was mainly supported by the QUAINT Network, the EPSRC, and the Foundational Questions Institute.
Presentations from the workshop talks will be available here.
